Why this exists
Before I built Everything Journal, the best tool I ever had was a book. A diary. It was simple. In one place, I could capture ideas, set goals, plan chores, reflect on my day, even paste in pictures.
When I switched to apps, that simplicity disappeared. Notes lived in one app, tasks in another, files and photos in a third. Collaboration required yet another tool. Instead of clarity, I got chaos.
So I designed Everything Journal as the digital version of that diary — one place for the things you want to keep, plan and act on; personal on your own and collaborative when life involves other people.

The questions worth answering before you trust it
“Who reads my journal?”
What you capture is processed by Google Cloud's Vertex AI to turn it into structure. Google does not use it to train their models. Basic understanding also runs on your device, so the app still works when you're offline.
What happens to an entry →“Do I have to organise all this myself?”
No. Say the thing; the structure is proposed for you, and anything the AI chose you can change. A sequence links to the original items; it does not move or hide them.
“What if I stop using it for a while?”
There is no taxonomy to design up front, no inbox to process, and no streak to break. Pick it up again when you need it; what you captured is still there.

What is Everything Journal?
One app for everything you'd otherwise scatter across four. Notes, photos, videos, voice recordings, documents, links, checklists, plans and trips are captured the same way and kept in the same place. You say what happened or what you need to do, and it's structured for you — then it stays findable years later.
What platforms is it on?
At launch, Everything Journal will be available on iPhone and iPad, and on Mac and Apple Vision Pro through the iPad app. It is pre-launch, and the early-access list is open now.
Is it free?
There's a free tier, and writing, planning and organising are never rationed on it — text notes, checklists, planner entries, tags, sequences and decks are unlimited. What's metered is the part that costs real money to run: media uploads and AI. A subscription removes those limits.
Can I take my things with me?
Yes. You can export your data, delete individual items, or delete your account and everything in it whenever you want.
Can it search inside photos and voice notes?
Yes. Text inside an image is searchable, so you can find a photo by words written on a whiteboard, a receipt or a label. Voice notes and videos are transcribed, so you can find a recording by something you said out loud in it. One search covers all twelve content types at once.
Can I share things with other people?
Yes. You can share individual items or a whole sequence, and choose whether each person can view, edit or manage it. Anything you don't share stays private to you.
How is it different from a notes app or a planner?
Two things. First, everything lives in one place, so a photo, a voice note and the plan they relate to are not in three different apps. Second, grouping things doesn't trap them: a sequence links to your items rather than containing them, so deleting the sequence leaves everything inside it untouched. Reorganising costs you nothing, which is what makes people actually do it.
Does it work offline?
Capture works offline. Understanding what you captured falls back to on-device processing when there's no connection, and richer analysis happens once you're back online.
Who makes Everything Journal?
It's a product of Spikey Tech Inc., founded by Pradeep Raghupathy. It's funded by the agency he runs rather than by outside investors, which means there's nobody upstream waiting on growth.
